The Byzantine Consternation is a non-canon Grand Battle. It is set in the fictional future of Grand Battles where The Network has become a big thing. There will be Network hijinks.

The Forger - The host of a different battle.
The Weaver - The host of this season. He has a spider motif perhaps.
Nightingale - A contestant from another battle, probably a Villain Battle from a previous season, called The Foolhardy Endeavour. She is in the sixth round and has been for some time, having incapacitated her competitors in medically induced comas. She runs a Network and has the power of Avekinesis.
